Overview

Make the very most of your time in Scotland with a private day tour at your own relaxed pace. Leave the bustling city of Edinburgh behind, crossing the River Forth into the Kingdom of Fife and start your adventure through this peaceful region of Scotland which has so much beauty and history, just waiting for you to discover.

To start your day’s exciting adventure, we will drive to the pretty village of Falkland, best known for its beautiful Royal Palace. This was said to be Mary, Queen of Scots favourite place, and was once the country residence of the Stewart kings and queens of Scotland. This wonderful palace, with its beautiful gardens is now open to the public to visit. After admiring the exquisite interior and wonderful tapestries, why not enjoy a leisurely wander around the quaint town and maybe indulge in a bite to eat?

Enjoy the passing countryside as we travel on to St Andrews. One of Europe's finest towns; it is a place of history, learning and culture. It is a wonderful coastal resort, and the world's home of golf! After a leisurely stroll around the impressive 12th century cathedral ruins and exploring its castle overlooking the North Sea, you are free to explore this fabulous old town with its famous university, Scotland’s oldest before we chart a journey along the coast. You can choose where to stop along the beautiful shore and the pretty fishing villages of St Monans with its colourful houses, Anstruther, Crail, Pittenweem where you may see the fishing boats landing their latest catch or the quaint village of Elie with its beautiful beaches and lighthouse, where you will have the opportunity to wander the cobbled streets and harbours. After a full day of touring this beautiful corner of Scotland known as the East Neuk of Fife, you can relax as we return you to your accommodation.

It is now time to say our farewells as I return you, relaxed and refreshed, to Edinburgh.
